Why outsource

Reduce your capital spend. Grow faster.

Capital is limited, and equipment that sits idle does not earn it back. We take on the capital spend. You get the unit you specified, outfitted the way you need it, for a fixed monthly cost.

What outsourcing changes

  • Customized outfitting

We order to your specification and outfit the unit before it reaches you, including your branding.

  • Vehicle financing

The capital sits on our balance sheet, not yours, so your budget stays free for work that earns.

  • Cost certainty

One price per month. No surprise repair bills, no depreciation to forecast.

  • Better use of capital

Money that would have gone into a depreciating asset goes into revenue-generating projects instead.

  • Better asset utilization

Take a unit for the season you need it, not the decade it sits on your books.

  • Flexible terms

Terms are set around your project, not around a standard lease schedule.

How it works

Specified, not pulled from a lot.

We do not hold stock. Every unit on this page was ordered for a specific client, to a specific spec. Here is what that looks like from your side.

  1. You tell us the spec

Make, model, powertrain, attachments, branding, and how long you need it. If you are not sure what you need, we will work it out from the job.

  2. We order and outfit

We place the order, take delivery, and fit it out: plow mounts, lift gear, storage, decals. It arrives ready to work.

  3. We deliver

The unit arrives where you need it, on the date you need it, plated and ready to put into service.

  4. We maintain

Optional. If maintenance is in your agreement, we service the unit where it lives, on your schedule, at your convenience.

One monthly cost, from spec to service.

The GruMac fleet

Three categories, all built to order.

What nobody else does

Share the unit. Split the cost.

A seventy-foot arborist lift earns its keep three weeks a year. Neither of two neighbouring municipalities can defend that purchase at a council table, so neither of them makes it. We place one unit and split it between them, scheduled around each one’s season.

It works the same for plows, chippers and any other unit that spends most of the year parked. The split follows the calendar: you carry the weeks you booked, and none of the ones you did not.

One unit, two schedules

52 weeks

  • Your weeks, 3
  • The next township over, 8
  • Unbooked, 41
Your share of the unit
27%
Weeks you do not pay for
49

The unit works for both of you and neither of you carries it alone. The weeks nobody has booked are weeks nobody is paying for.

3 weeks a year against the next township’s 8: you carry 27 percent of the unit and none of the other 49 weeks.
